Interesting facts about me: Growing up I lived in the country and raised animals. When I was in 3rd grade I showed a steer at the Williamson County Livestock Show. My dad farmed the land that Williams is built on.

Hi and welcome to my website! My name is Jenny Carter and I am a Dyslexia teacher at Williams Elementary. We are going to have a wonderful year of learning and reading together! Education & Teaching Background:
All About Mrs. Carter: I grew up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It is a small, but beautiful town, nestled close to the Grand Teton mountain range. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Although I love the mountains, I also love living in Texas. It is such a great place with so many wonderful people. My husband and I have lived in Texas for 20 years now. My husband, Bob, just retired after being a helicopter pilot in the Army National Guard for 32 years. We enjoy spoiling our big rescue puppy, Koda. He is a German Shepard, Chow and Great Pyrennes Mix. We also have two grown boys that live in Colorado and Arizona. When I get a break from school, I love to get pedicures, shop, read, and go to the movies. I also love to entertain friends and family. My family LOVES traveling. We are addicted to going on cruises and have been all over the Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Bahamas, and Mexico on numerous cruises. We also enjoy going to Europe! This time of year I am also a football fanatic! I love all sports, but especially football!

Ms. Hinton
I have 12 professional years in education and 13 additional years working as a private tutor and Dyslexia tutor. I have served in positions of Reading and Dyslexia Intervention, Elementary Music, Introductory Latin, and Pre-K5.
My family includes 4 grown daughters and one son in college at Austin Community College. Outside of work, I like to serve in Children's Ministry at church, work out, do yoga, paddle small watercraft on the lake, shop at vintage stores, and hike in the hill country.
What most excites me about working at Williams Elementary School is the opportunity to work on a campus that is so student-centered, innovative in its learning culture, and committed to Growth Mindset theory.
